The image of bridge building is an appropriate description of inter faith activity. Two (or more communities) each trying to learn, explore and understand different faiths and perspectives as a means of building friendships across the divide. Inter faith relations has been described as the most pressing need in the globalised world today. Tony Blair rather dramtically declared that the future of the planet depended on the two largest faith communities (Christian and Islamic) being able to get on together.
This blog will be dedicated to enabling inter faith bridge building in the small but significant country of the Unitedf Arab Emirates.
